This medium-sized suburban garden wrapping around the house presented a completely blank canvas.  The initial priority was to add privacy to the boundaries with a combination of fencing and planting, and to create an area for a large outdoor office, sunk down to minimise the visual impact from the house.  New terraces and a raised decking/pergola area were constructed with a recessed water feature alongside. The Client brief was for really generous borders to enable an array of more unusual and colourful planting, with the project also including a new extended driveway and porch, internal gates and fencing, an outdoor shower, irrigation and lighting, fulfilling the client's vision for a complete outdoor living space.
