A complete redesign of a large rural garden to create better connectivity and to ‘anchor’ the house in the landscape. The brief included the creation of a specific area for dogs with dog-friendly planting and finishes, the construction of a water feature, plus spaces to enjoy the views, afford flexibility for entertaining, and to allow generous planting.
The design required our team to construct new brick retaining walls, steps and porcelain terraces, with brick edging details and pathways, sandstone paving and composite decking. It also required the installation of fencing to all boundaries, an automatic irrigation system and exterior lighting, new garden structures including shed, gazebo, pergola & outdoor gym, and the creation of a large water feature. Soft-landscaping involved tree, hedge & border planting, the creation of new lawns and a meadow.
